Color: dark gold
Nose: citrus, candy, brown sugar, oak
Body: medium In the mouth: fantastic aromatic palette, strawberry, hay, honey
Finish: nice length with the notes described above with spicy wood, accompanied by summer fruits.
A bit of history...
Everybody knows the "Loch Lomond", famous and favorite drink of Captain Haddock in TINTIN (and that Milou didn't hate either!), even if originally in 1943, he drank a Johnnie Walker (the tanker in "The Black Island"). The whisky has been modified in 1996 in Loch Lomond.
The distillery is located 5km from Loch Lomond. It was built in a dye house located in an industrial area. It currently produces malt and grain whisky.
It produces a lot of whisky for supermarkets, hotels etc. Loch Lomond exists in two versions, peated and unpeated. In addition to Loch Lomond, they also produce a malt called Inchmurrin.
