Martinique rhum
Trois rivières VSOP 5 years
Bottle of 0.7 L
Presentation
The Trois Rivières plantation came into being in 1660 when Nicolas Fouquet, Superintendent of Finances to Louis XIV, was granted 2000 hectares of land in the south of the island, the largest ever plot of land granted in the West Indies. This VSOP vintage stands out with its personality, its perfect smoothness and its delicate opulence. The result of a harmonious blend, this rum is aged in French oak for more than 5 years in the Chais (wine storehouses) of theTrois Rivièreshouse. The complex aromas are delightful on the nose, and fresh fruit and mild tobacco are complemented by a hint of spice. The sensation on the palate is smooth, opulent, all mixed together. This rum offers a wealth of flavours: notes of mild tobacco, gingerbread and dried fruit beguile the taste buds
