The largest of the range, gives a sense of power as it lies in its black box. It has an agreeable feel in the hand. Dense to the touch and without any hard spots, its rolling is perfectly executed. Without half measures, the rapid burn gives a large plume of smoke. Grilled notes dominate the first part of the tasting. Woodiness arrives in the next rank. A few almond notes slide out in the second third. Well balanced, the finish moves up a gear and takes on the tempo of a military marching band.
